Hi, I’m Nathalie.
I’m a wedding and portrait photographer originally from Tennessee, though I’ve spent the last few years collecting places to call home. I’m now based around West Yorkshire and Manchester, but if you’re planning something further, I’m always happy to travel!
When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me on a trail with my beautiful Great Pyrenees, Luna, trying a new recipe, listening to music or planning my next trip. I’ve lived in Tennessee, Spain and now England, and I think I’ll always have a bit of a soft spot for travelling, discovering new places and having somewhere to go next. I’m happiest with good food, good music, the people I love and, ideally, a bit of sunshine.
I remember when I first picked up a family friend’s camera when I was about 10 years old, and by 18, I bought my first camera with hopes of becoming a YouTuber. That clearly didn’t happen, but what started as a light-hearted hobby gradually became something so much bigger. I started my business in high school photographing family and senior portraits, and while studying at university, I took a photojournalism class that completely changed the way I looked at photography. It taught me to pay attention to the in-between moments, to look for genuine connection and to tell each story as it unfolds.
It’s no secret that being in front of a massive DSLR is intimidating, so I’ll never expect you to magically know what to do. I’ll offer direction when you need it, give you space when you don’t and get to know you and what matters to you along the way.
Because years from now, I don't just want you to remember what it looked like. I want you to remember exactly how it felt.
